I’m especially excited that our first speaker is Kate Behning, ARNP, founder of Trust Women’s Health.
Kate has been involved with the menopause society since 2013 – long before many of us had ever heard the word perimenopause. After more than 15 years in women’s healthcare, she recently stepped away from a large healthcare system to launch her own independent practice in downtown Seattle.
What I love most about Kate’s story isn’t just her expertise, it’s the philosophy behind her practice.
The inspiration for the name Trust Women’s Health comes from a simple but powerful belief: “Trust Women, Respect Choice.”
Kate built her practice around the idea that women deserve individualized care, honest conversations, evidence-based information, and the ability to make informed decisions about their own bodies in partnership with providers they trust.
That feels pretty Braless & Lawless to me.
Kate’s practice supports women through every stage of life – from first periods to menopause and beyond – and our conversation will focus on menopause, hormone therapy, healthy aging, and the questions many women are asking right now.
We’ll explore topics such as HRT, vaginal estrogen, risk-benefit considerations, common misconceptions, and how to navigate the often-conflicting information available online. Most importantly, we’ll discuss how women can feel more informed and confident when making decisions about their health.
